By creating an account or using Stallion you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Stallion. We ask for your date of birth when you create an account to confirm this. If you use Stallion for an organisation, you confirm you may bind it.

Give accurate details and keep your sign-in secure, including any second factor you turn on. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been accessed without permission.

One person, one account. Fleet managers who create driver accounts are responsible for having the right to do so.

Stallion is a vehicle record-keeping and diagnostics tool: fuel, maintenance, reminders, costs, and optional engine data and trips read from an OBD-II adapter you supply. Some features run on your device and work offline; others need an account and an internet connection.

We may change, add or remove features. If we remove something you paid for, we will tell you in advance and, where the law or the store requires, refund the unused part.

Stallion reports what your vehicle and your logs tell it. Fuel use, efficiency, costs, service schedules, recall summaries and AI answers are estimates or summaries. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, particularly with low-cost adapters and cars that do not report every sensor.

Nothing in Stallion is professional mechanical, safety, legal, tax or financial advice. Confirm anything that matters — a fault code, a recall, a service interval — with a qualified mechanic or the manufacturer before you act on it.

Do not operate the app while driving. Set up and review trips only when it is safe and legal to do so.

When you share a vehicle or add drivers, you are giving those people access to records in Stallion. That is all it does. It does not transfer ownership, change insurance or registration, or give anyone permission to drive the vehicle.

Only invite people you trust and who have agreed to receive the invitation. You can remove members at any time. Anything a member has already seen or exported cannot be recalled.

Stallion has a free tier and paid plans. The price, billing period and features of each plan are shown on the plan screen before you buy, and the store shows the final price, including any taxes, at checkout. We do not add fees on top.

Paid plans renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; the plan then stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the current period except as set out below.

Purchases made in the iOS app are billed by Apple and those in the Android app by Google, and you manage or cancel them in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings. Purchases made on the website are billed by our payment provider and can be managed from the Manage subscription option in Stallion. Card details are handled by the store or payment provider; we never see them.

If we change a price, we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal, and you may cancel first.

Apple and Google decide refunds for purchases made through their stores, under their own policies. Ask them directly: on iOS at reportaproblem.apple.com, on Android through Google Play order history. We cannot issue those refunds ourselves, but we will support your request if you contact us.

For purchases made on the website, email support@thestallionapp.com with the email on your account. We will review every request in good faith and refund where the law requires it or where we made an error — for example a duplicate charge or a plan that did not activate.

If you live in the EU or UK you keep your statutory consumer rights, including any right to cancel and be refunded that applies to your purchase. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by contract.

Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in your Apple ID or Google Play settings first, or you may continue to be billed.

You agree not to:

• break the law or use Stallion to track, monitor or locate a person or vehicle without the right to do so
• attempt to access another user’s data, or probe, disrupt or overload the service
• reverse-engineer, scrape or resell the service, or bypass plan limits or billing
• upload unlawful content or malware, or use the AI features to generate it

You own the records, notes and photos you put into Stallion. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display them as needed to run the service for you and the people you share with — nothing more.

The Stallion app, its design and its software belong to us and our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them under these terms.

Vehicle manufacturer names and logos shown in Stallion are trademarks of their respective owners. We display them only to identify the make of a vehicle you added. Stallion is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any vehicle manufacturer.

You can stop using Stallion or delete your account at any time from Account settings. Deletion removes your synced data; see the Privacy Policy for what is retained and for how long.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. Unless the breach is serious or urgent, we will warn you first, and we will refund any prepaid period we cut short.

Stallion is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that readings and estimates will be accurate, or that it fits a particular purpose. We give no warranty about the condition of any vehicle.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss arising from decisions you make based on Stallion’s readings, estimates or AI output, including repair, purchase, insurance or driving decisions.

Our total liability to you for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 50 US dollars, or the local equivalent.

Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights.

We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect, and the "Last updated" date will change. If you keep using Stallion after that, you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can cancel and delete your account.

These terms are governed by the law of the country in which the Stallion operator named above is established, except that where you are a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and may bring a claim in your local courts.
